The Foundation for Rural Sustainability is dedicated to developing and improving the economic capabilities of small family farmers and ranchers through research, analysis, education and training about agricultural tourism, or agritourism, in Baker, Union and Wallowa counties of Northeast Oregon The Foundation provides educational and instructional materials and seminars to small family farmers, ranchers and other stakeholders in Northeast Oregon as a means of strengthening and improving the vitality of small farms, ranches, and our rural communities. The Foundation for Rural Sustainability is incorporated as an Oregon nonprofit corporation based in Northeast Oregon.
