THE OREGON TOURISM COMMISSION

The Oregon Tourism Commission (dba Travel Oregon) works to enhance Oregonians’ quality of life by strengthening economic impacts of the state’s $8.3 billion tourism industry.

The Tourism Development team's mission is "to assist Oregon communities and organizations to develop, enhance and implement quality tourism plans and products."  Travel Oregon has convened 12 focus groups in rural communities across the state to learn what kinds of opportunities community leaders see for tourism development in their region. You can view the results of the La Grande and Union County Tourism Workshop and the Wallowa and Baker County Tourism Workshop held in Enterprise, or you can review all twelve Oregon workshop summaries.
